Another interesting development in electrical components is their ability to be networked. In other words, just like computers, devices can be added to a network allowing them to download information, communicate with other devices, and be accessed through the Internet. Not only are electronics beginning to behave like computers, many actually are computers. Many components even entail some degree of programming similar or equivalent to computer programming.
With technology becoming more complex, choosing a company that just knows how to connect wires no longer cuts it. To properly engineer, integrate, configure, and troubleshoot modern electronic systems, a high degree of technical understanding and creative thinking is a must. Not surprisingly, a very strong background in digital technology, networking, programming, and computer systems is also needed. • Thanh Trang - Senior Technician, Founder. Thanh is a university-trained electrical engineer. After obtaining his degree, he was employed by Electrolux where he successfully improved upon the electronic circuitry and programming logic that allowed machines to manufacture products. Being an Army reservist, he was called to duty in 2002. He spent the next few years maintaining and advancing mission-critical computer systems for Operations Enduring & Iraqi Freedom. He gained valuable experience and contributed much as he dealt with computer hardware & software, database management, networking, and process automation via computer programming.
Thanh is also an excellent, tool-savvy craftsman with a keen eye for improving installation techniques. Additionally, Thanh's engineering expertise extends further as he has taken much coursework in other trades just because he enjoys it. Before founding Digital Living, he was employed by AT&T Technical Services where he continued to offer his support for our nation as a military contractor.
• Chris Burriss - Project Manager, Founder. Also in the Army, Chris was called to duty in 2001. He spent the next few years maintaining and advancing mission-critical computer systems for Operations Enduring & Iraqi Freedom. Here, he gained valuable experience and contributed much as he dealt with computer hardware & software, database management, networking, process automation via computer programming, and web programming. Within a few years, Chris established himself as a top expert in his field and was utilized often to troubleshoot overseas computer systems.
Chris also has a deep affection for movies and music. With his customer-driven design approach, he is able to share the thrill of a great movie and music experience with others. Before founding Digital Living, Chris was successfully working towards a degree in Computer Science with the goal of entering Artificial Intelligence research. He was also employed by AT&T Technical Services as a military contractor.
